Last Thursday’s AoA Information Night

We had a successful evening as about 50 to 60 families were in attendance – the vast majority from Alameda. Special thanks goes out to Allyson Schoolcraft as she did a really nice job promoting the 6^th great program and AoA in general. Thanks also to Bill Schaff, Amy Price, Nora, Annalisa, and Cherie. Our two students, Julian Edgerly and Andi Wiley were excellent – no surprises there.

Eyes on the Front (3:20 to 3:30 pm) – Schoolcraft
Eyes on the Back (3:20 to 3:30 pm) – Sampson

Tuesday
Common Core Team Meeting, Tuesday, 2/12 from 3:30 to 4:30

Let’s meet in in Taryn’s Room at 3:30. We are going to begin creating a staff development plan to roll out Common Core.
AoA 2013/14 Information Night at Ruby Bridges – Tuesday Evening, 2/12 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm

Wednesday
Staff Meeting – Wednesday, 2/13 from 2:15 to 3:30 pm

I’ll send out an agenda before then.
PTA Meeting, Wednesday, 2/13 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm

Thursday
Student Basketball Game – Thursday, 2/14 at Lunch
There is a staff v student basketball game on Thursday. Lunch will be 10 minutes longer. That day’s bell schedule will be sent out.
There is also a free dress day (except for those with too many tardies) for students (Athletic wear). We’ll make announcements as to what students can wear.
