There is a advisory/tutorial focus group meeting in Rad's Room at 3:30. We selected a group of teachers who have been particularly successful running their tutorial period to find out some of the practices they are using. There will be a share out at at future staff meeting.

Tuesday – 4/30
7th/8th Grade Elective Class Form Handed
Out During Tutorial
6th and 7thth
grade teachers, please hand out the 2013/14 elective class forms to your
students at the beginning of Tuesday’s tutorial. Please take a minute or two to
go over it
reminding them that we will do our very best to give students their
first 1st or 2nd choice. Please tell them to bring the
handout home to their parents/guardians so that they can discuss elective
options for next year. Students will select their elective classes in your
advisory class the following Tuesday (5/7).
Adjusted Schedule - Advisory is at the end of the day.
Due to the 8th grade panoramic picture, Tuesday's tutorial will be at the end of the day. Summer will send out the schedule on Monday morning.

Development Day on May 10. Let’s complete the specific working agenda and set a
date to plan for the June meetings (6/18-20).
Wednesday – 5/1
Staff Meeting
We have a short staff
meeting beginning at 2:00 centered around implementing the STAR Test the following
week. We will be done by 2:30. It’s shortened to allow for BTSA work. The
following teachers will complete their BTSA work on May 16 and will thus be
eligible to receive their clear credentials. Congratulations to Kelly Johnson,
Jessica Diaz, Chris Peterson, Michele Lobatz, Trace Sampson, Erik Jimenez, and
Shannon Kayson.
Friday – 5/3 (1/2 day for students with an adjusted schedule)
Friday marks the mid-way
point of the 3rd trimester. Progress report grades are due Tuesday,
5/7 at 4:00 pm. The new wheel rotation begins Monday, 5/6.
End-of the-Year Celebration – June 7
Mark your calendars for
Friday (time to be announced), June 7 as Nora is hosting a staff party to
celebrate the end (or almost end) of the school year.
