STAFF BULLETIN - WEEK OF 4/20/15

TEACHER DUTIES

Track Meet Coverage (4:00-6:00pm on Wednesday, April 22nd) - Rogers
Track Meet Coverage (4:00-6:30pm on Thursday, April 23rd) - Johnson
MONDAY - 4/20
  • All Grade SBAC ELA Practice Test - All English teachers will administer the SBAC Practice Test in their English classes. Feel free to use this powerpoint and remember that you have the option to have the students sign on with their credentials or as a guest. If you choose to have them sign on with their credentials please get the index cards from Summer prior to testing. View technology use schedule for your assigned cart.
  • Leadership Team Meeting (3:35-4:35pm in Rm. 218) Focus on building an even more effective student culture. Please read the email that I sent out regarding the Caring Schools Survey data.

TUESDAY - 4/21
  • All Grade SBAC ELA Practice Test - see description from Monday.
  • Track & Field Practice (3:30-5:30pm on the blacktop)
  • AoA Board Meeting (6:30-8:30pm in the Staff Lounge)

WEDNESDAY - 4/22
  • Incoming student MAP testing (2:30-4:30pm in the Computer Lab)
  • Staff Meeting (2:30-3:30pm) -Teachers will be in committees
  • Track Meet (4:00-6:00pm at College of Alameda)
  • AoA Workout Class (4:00-4:45pm in the Library) 

THURSDAY - 4/23
  • Incoming student MAP testing (3:15-5:15pm in the Computer Lab)
  • Grading window opens at 4:00pm - it will close on Tuesday at 4:00pm
  • Track Meet (4:00-6:30pm at Encinal)
  • Parent Workshop (6:30-7:30pm in the Library)

FRIDAY - 4/24
  • 1/2 Day for students (12:30pm dismissal) - 1/2 day bell schedule
  • A's Night Out Fundraiser & Tailgate (5:00pm at O.Co)AoA's tailgating party starts at 5:00pm in Section D rows 6 to 8.  Look for The Academy banner and a dark kahki colored  Ford Flex.  Section D is close to the D gate on the North East side of the coliseum.  Hot dogs and drinks will be provided. If your last name is A-L bring a dessert and M-Z a side in disposable containers. 
  • AEF Salute to Education (6:00-8:00pm at Rhythmix Cultural Works) Griffin and Alicia will be recognized for their work around the Organizational Bootcamp that they have facilitated this year and Chantel Currid will be honored for her recycling program volunteer work. Congratulations to all three!
