Preparedness Rate Results from Friday
Preparedness Rate = 92% -
Thanks for continuing to hand in your forms. We’ll announce how students are
doing on Monday as Wednesday is the last day that we will track the preparedness rate in
September. Students have to have 126 points – a preparedness rate of 90% for
the 14 days that we tracked, if they are to have a free dress day.
Tuesday
Volleyball Game – Tuesday, 9/25 beginning at 4:00 to
6:00 pm
The 1st
volleyball game of the year takes place at Lincoln Middle School beginning at 4:00 pm
with the B team. The A team plays at approximately 5:00 pm. Chaperones are Ashley Black, Shannon Kayson, and Chris Peterson
Wednesday
Staff Meeting – Wednesday, 9/26 from 2:15 to 3:30 pm
(Room 205)
Topics include helping
enrichment wheel teachers set up their gradebooks (for enrichment courses)
setting up teacher bios on School Loop, and supporting students with IEP’s – focusing on accommodations and modifications.
Parent Education Evening – Wednesday, 9/26 from 6:30
to 7:30 pm
We have a parent education meeting
designed for parents/guardians new to AoA on Wednesday evening. The following
topics are being covered:

your child develop a growth mindset· How to help your child build advocacy skills
· How to help your child stay organized
· School Loop tutorial
