Spirit Days – This Wednesday Through Friday: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are spirit days. Wednesday is PJ day, Thurs. is wacky-tacky and Fri is class color day with 6th grade wearing white, 7th grade wearing green and 8th grade wearing black. We will also have a penny war each day during lunch so encourage students to bring their pennies from home.

Staff Meeting – Wednesday, 1/30 from 2:00 to 2:40 pm

We have a shorter staff meeting this week (from 2:00 to 2:45 pm) as we have an extended Leadership Team meeting afterwards. Please bring any work that you have done around your personal professional development plan, as you will be having group discussions with teachers who have the same/similar goal area.

Leadership Team Meeting – Wednesday, 1/30 from 2:45 to 4:30 pm

The focus of the meeting will be to discuss a couple of different bell schedule options for next year. I’ve made a decision to eliminate the three 4^th period enrichment periods so we have to make some adjustments to our daily schedule. We will continue to have a rotating schedule although it will be different from what we have now. No decisions will be made on Wednesday as I will bring back options to the staff for input. More about this on Wednesday.
Enrichment Wheels Rotate - Friday, 2/1
This is the last day of the current wheel rotation. Kanitha will send out a reminder as well as the next rotation schedule.

School Dance to Benefit Music Program – Friday, 2/1 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm

We have a school dance this Friday to culminate Spirit Days and are in need of a few staff chaperones. If you’re interested, please contact Annalisa.

BB Games This Week – B Team begins at 4 pm, A Team begins at 5 pm

Boys – Tuesday, 1/29 at the Boys and Girls Club against Nea/ACLC.

Girls – Wednesday, 1/30 at AoA (Chaperones - Peterson)
